HOLDERS Field blew away Bradford Horton Sports in the opening 20 minutes of their Bradford & District FA Saturday Senior Cup semi-final at Eccleshill United.
The West Yorkshire League Premier Division leaders netted five goals in that time, with Josh Milner grabbing a brace inside ten minutes as his side went on to win 7-2.
Curtis McMahon added a hat-trick, with Danny Cunningham also scoring at the double, but their West Riding County Amateur League Division One opponents stuck in well after being blitzed early on.
Field assistant manager Barry Dunne said: "We were 5-0 in front after only 20 minutes but all credit to Horton Sports, who continued to play football the right way and kept going until the final whistle."
The defending champions will now meet either Wibsey and Campion, who play their semi-final – again at Eccleshill United – on Monday (7pm).
