Andy Lee's pace caused Winsford United problems in the second half

THERE were no goals but it was certainly no bore draw as Silsden hosted Winsford United in an entertaining mid-table clash on a tricky pitch at the Angel Telecom Stadium.
The Cobbydalers dominated the first quarter, and Craig Nicholls (twice) and Aaron Hollindrake had very good chances before Winsford had their first meaningful attack.
The visitors came closest to breaking the deadlock when Sam Marshall thumped a shot against the crossbar late in the first half.
However, Silsden finished strongly, with Andy Lee coming off the bench to inject some pace up front.
