ANDREW Davies has been told to ignore the pain of his injured arm and “get on with it”.

Checks confirmed that the City centre half had not suffered a break in Tuesday’s game at Coventry. But he still remains in pain with the knock – which happened in the same part of the arm that he broke at the start of the season.

Phil Parkinson said: “Davo has had it scanned and x-rayed and there’s no break in it at all.

“The concern was because it was the same side where he broke it. But straight after the game the Coventry doctor looked at it and said it was very rare for it to re-break when you’ve got a metal plate in there.

“We’ve been thorough and he’s still in pain. But he’s at the stage now where mentally he’s got to get on with it.

“It was a heavy whack he took and when you’ve broken that arm before, it is psychological.”
