SILSDEN are at home for the first time under the new management team of Ryan Haigh and Chris Price as they take on Winsford United in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
Haigh and Price, who worked together at Padiham, were in charge for the 3-0 defeat at Colne after Andy Geary stepped down from the manager’s role.
Spokesman Jim Rosser feels a victory is possible after the encouraging display against their neighbours in midweek.
He said: “We had Joe Jalil back in, and Chris Wademan and Craig Nicholls played well, as did Matty Moore – he’s a local lad from Keighley.
“It was still a defeat but a much better performance, and we’re hoping for three points.”
