BRIGHOUSE Town Reserves' hopes of challenging AFC Emley Reserves for the Lancashire League title suffered a setback when they drew 1-1 with Thackley Reserves.
Great work from new boy Izzy Johnson enabled Callum Charlton to edge Brighouse ahead after 37 minutes but Thackley hit back through Joe Keen just four minutes later.
Thackley assistant manager Lee Robinson said: "It was a hard-fought, solid performance against a good Brighouse side and it was a well-earned point for us."
Eccleshill United suffered a 2-1 defeat at Selby Town in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League North Division.
Donovan Price fired Eccleshill in front after 14 minutes but Selby equalised before the interval and grabbed the winner four minutes after half-time.
