LIVERSEDGE'S hopes of landing the Northern Under-19 Alliance League title suffered a setback as they lost 2-1 at home to Huddersfield YMCA.
The visitors took a 1-0 interval lead and increased it before Sam Bagshaw scored a consolation goal.
Sedge are still three points ahead but second-placed AFC Emley can now catch them as they have two games in hand.
In the Lancashire League, Eccleshill United Reserves lost 2-0 at Ossett Albion Reserves.
Meanwhile, Brighouse Town Reserves progressed to the semi-finals of the Halifax & District FA Cup following their excellent 3-0 victory at Stump Cross.
The breakthrough came for Brighouse after 55 minutes when the ball dropped at the feet of 16-year-old Ellis Nicholls, who shot into the top corner.
Town got a second four minutes later from another corner, Callum Lewis scoring a close-range header, and they closed the game out through Connah Judson.
