THACKLEY have gone from flirting with relegation to mid-table respectability and they will be searching for a fifth straight win when they host Armthorpe Welfare on Saturday.
Secretary Stuart Willingham, who has returned to the club, reckons the run is down to team spirit.
He said: “It’s been an amazing run and amazing turnaround, and it’s all down to Chris Reape and the players.
“Chris has got them playing good football and the players are really putting in the effort.
“There’s a real sense of team spirit around and you can see them playing for each other and playing for the club. It’s wonderful to see.”
After beating the leaders Tadcaster Albion 2-1 away in midweek, they face an Armthorpe Welfare side who have won their last two matches.
Albion Sports return to action with trip to third-from-bottom Nostell MW.
Liversedge, who lost 1-0 to a 79th-minute penalty at Nostell last Saturday and were soundly beaten 4-0 by second-placed Worksop Town in midweek, tackle second-from-bottom Retford United at Clayborn.
Eccleshill United go in search of their third victory on the trot when they travel to Dronfield in Division One.
