A PEACH of a free-kick by Matthew Waller secured a 3-1 victory for Brighouse Town Reserves over Ossett Town Reserves in the Lancashire League.
Callum Charlton and Jack Normanton have given Brighouse a two-goal lead after 28 minutes but Ossett pulled one back in the 55th before Waller's set-piece.
Brighouse assistant manager Barry Thomas said: "We started really well, controlled the first half and should have been four or five goals in front, so we deserved the three points."
The Northern Under-19 Alliance League derby between Thackley and Silsden was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Dennyfield.
