JOSE Mourinho's visit to the Bradford City changing rooms after they had dumped Chelsea out of the FA Cup triggered an unhappy memory for Guiseley manager Mark Bower.
The former Bantams centre half said: "The only time I can remember something like that happening was after a very young Bradford City Reserves side – I was the oldest outfield player at 19 – had lost 8-0 at Liverpool in 2000.
"Gerard Houllier came into the changing room afterwards to apologise! Robbie Fowler had scored five, with the others coming from Erik Meijer, Titi Camara and Patrik Berger."
The Liverpool, team which was coached by Joe Corrigan, was: Pegguy Arphexad, Vegard Heggem, Christian Ziege, Stephen Wright, Frode Kippe, Alan Navarro, Titi Camara, Erik Meijer, Robbie Fowler, Patrik Berger, Bernard Diomede.
The Bradford City team was: Aidan Davison, Tyson, Lewis Emanuel, Scott Kerr, Mark Bower, Bolton, Adam Hardy, Craig Fishlock, Ben Jones. Subs: Jon Worsnop, Jack Dufton, Lo.
