PREMIER Division leaders Field were blown off course at second-placed Bardsey in the West Yorkshire League.
The Bradford side were beaten 3-2 in a cracking match, suffering only their second defeat of the season.
Bardsey took the lead twice, Danny Cunningham making it 1-1 before half-time and netting a second-half penalty to once again level matters.
With the clock running down, the hosts grabbed the winner with a last-minute header.
Field are still 11 points clear but have played more games (19) than anyone, giving the chasing pack a glimmer of hope.
In Division One, Wyke Wanderers came away with a 3-1 win at bottom side Featherstone Colliery but struggled to get into the match against strong, direct hosts on a bumpy pitch.
Wyke went in front when Ian Horrocks lobbed the keeper after a fine four-man move but Featherstone quickly equalised when the visitors failed to clear the ball.
However, Wanderers went ahead again when, after another good move, Aiden Day put the ball into the top corner from the edge of the penalty box.
Wyke should have gone further ahead, with several chances going begging, before Joe Walshe made the points secure.
Wanderers Reserves beat tough opponents Kippax Reserves 3-2 in their Alliance Division Two match on a 3G pitch.
Wyke's goals came from Hoi-Pin Truong, Joe Sagar and Max Powell and the newcomers deserved their victory as they gel a mixture of young talent and more experienced players.
Baildon Trinity Athletic are still in a promotion place but dropped to third in Division Two as a result of their home match against Normanton Woodhouse Hill being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The League Trophy tie between Field Reserves and Rothwell Town Reserves, plus the Alliance Division Two match between Howden Clough Reserves and Baildon Trinity Athletic Reserves, were also both off because of the wet surfaces.
