GUISELEY suffered their second postponement in three games when today's trip to Worcester City in the Vanarama Conference North was called off.
City play their home games at Conference Premier neighbours Kidderminster Harriers’ Aggborough stadium, and the pitch was found to be waterlogged following an early morning inspection.
The decision came as a blow to the promotion-chasing Lions as they were looking to consolidate their third place in the table.
A disappointing goalless draw at Harrogate Town on Boxing Day was followed by a blank Saturday two days later when the home game against leaders AFC Fylde was off due to snow and ice.
The Lions roared to a 4-2 home win over Harrogate Town on New Year’s Day and were looking to gain some momentum.
