THE West Riding County Amateur League intend to apply to the Football Association for full Step Seven status from the start of next season.
The league's current standing on the National League System is Step Seven B, which they were granted from the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
To achieve the upgraded status, the league will have to show that all Premier Division clubs have reached the Step Seven criteria, which involves adding additional showers and separate toilets for players and officials, as well as toilet facilities for spectators at some grounds.
It is also envisaged that by the end of the 2015-16 season, all Division One teams will fulfil the same criteria as well.
Clubs are still welcome to apply to join the league in Division Two but they will be expected, within their first season, to have reached the same criteria as the other clubs.
