THE Dual Seal Stadium is the venue for today's big Evo-Stik League derby in Division One North as Brighouse Town host neighbours Farsley – and the home side are offering a Boxing Day deal.

Brighouse chairman Ray McLaughlin explained: "I saw Huddersfield Town had sold their entire allocation for the away derby at Rotherham, so we would like to see some Terriers fans who can't get in at the New York Stadium come and support us for £4 as against £7. Concessions for pass holders will be £2.

"The same applies for Bradford City pass holders, as they are away to Fleetwood, and FC Halifax Town fans, who are away to Gateshead.

"With it being Farsley, midway between Bradford and Leeds, it could tempt a few Bantams fans – and had Leeds not being entertaining Wigan Athletic, then we would have also welcomed their fans."

Farsley are looking to climb back into the play-off places and break through the 40-point barrier with victory against their mid-table hosts.

Neil Parsley's men are only six points off the summit and have games in hand over all five clubs above them.

It is the start of an important three days for Farsley, who also host second-placed promotion rivals Darlington 1883 on Sunday.

Brighouse are one of three clubs locked on 25 points and a win for the St Giles Road side could mean a significant move up the table from their current 15th position.
