MIDFIELDER Matty Dolan is heading back to City with a hamstring injury.

Dolan's loan at hometown club Hartlepool is set to be cut short after he picked up the problem ahead of their 1-1 draw with Oxford this afternoon.

It is the second time this season that he has been injured in the warm-up before a game.

New Hartlepool boss Ronnie Moore confirmed: "He's done his hamstring so he'll have to go back to Bradford now, which is a shame.

“He was involved in all the set-plays and all the corners too so we had to switch everything over – but it’s a real shame because he’s done well since I’ve been here.”
