Leeds United season-ticket holders are being prevented until further notice from paying for them by credit card or debit card.
This is due to the winding-up petition issued by Sport Capital against the club, which has meant that their merchant service provider is witholding season-ticket funds that have been paid by these two methods.
The club have admitted on their website that they may not receive this money until the new season is underway.
The website continued: “The five-month interest-free instalment plan provided by Zebra Finance is available for fans to spread the cost of their season ticket, and the club is urging fans to use this option. You can also pay for your season ticket using cheque or cash.
“Any season tickets already purchased by credit or debit card will be valid for the new season.”
Further information is available from the club's ticket services office on 0871-334-1992.
