Just one issue remains to be decided as the West Riding County Amateur League season enters its final week.
Lepton Highlanders are already relegated from the Premier Division and either Halifax Irish or Hall Green United will drop down with them.
Tyersal visit Hall Green United on Saturday and victory for the Wakefield hosts would condemn Halifax Irish, who play their final match at Bay Athletic next Wednesday, to the drop.
Ovenden West Riding sealed the top-flight title with a 5-1 midweek win over Steeton and now turn their attention to trying to complete the league and cup double.
They tackle Salts, whose ground is undergoing a revamp, in the quarter-finals at Marley Stadium tomorrow night (6.15pm). The winners then meet Kirkburton on Monday evening, while Campion entertain Bay Athletic in the other semi-final at the same time.
Hunsworth and Lower Hopton, with promotion already secured as the top two, now meet in the Division One Cup semi-finals on Saturday. The other last-four tie between Wakefield City and Overthorpe is on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Steeton will be hoping to join the list of the league’s sides to lift the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup – the highest competition for clubs outside the semi-professional divisions – on Monday night.
They will be up against Bradford-based West Yorkshire League team Fields in the final at Elland Road (7pm).
Fields last reached the final in 1996 when, as a County Amateur League side, they lost 1-0 to Boroughbridge.
MIDWEEK RESULTS – Premier Division: Storthes Hall 3, Bay Athletic 3. Division One: Steeton Res 1, Hunsworth 3. Division One Cup, quarter-final: Lower Hopton 9, Salts Res 1.
