Thackley Reserves could do little to prevent an FC United Reserves double as the Lancashire League Cup final finished 5-0.
It was 0-0 at half-time but the league champions then upped the tempo to score through Cosmos Okeke, Tunde Owolalabi, Justin Johnson, Frank van Gils and Jon Poizer.
Thackley spokesman John McCreery said: “There was a very good crowd of nearly 200 people that created a good atmosphere but FC United were worthy winners.
“They dominated the match and if it wasn’t for our goalkeeper and man of the match Matt Keen, the score would have been a lot more.”
