In a topsy turvey Lancashire League East local derby, Liversedge Reserves won 5-4 at Brighouse Town Reserves.
Former Brighouse player Eli Hey grabbed a hat-trick for Sedge, with other goals from Josh Beaumont and Shane Collins, while the Brighouse goals were scored by Will Tolley, Isaac Baldwin, Tom Haigh and Richard Thompson.
In the last match of the season in the North West Counties League, Silsden Reserves had a resounding 9-0 victory against Barnoldswick Reserves with Nick McNally leading the way with six goals.
Thackley Reserves face FC United Reserves at Dennyfield on Saturday (2pm) in the Lancashire League Cup Final. FC United are bringing around 200 supporters so it promises to be a cracking atmosphere.
