Farsley are relishing the opportunity to pick up their battle for points in Evo-Stik Division One North on Saturday but they will be wary as they host bogey side Kendal Town.
Neil Parsley’s men had a blank Saturday last weekend and their midweek fixture was a League Cup tie.
They dropped down one place to third as they were sidelined last Saturday but they want to at least consolidate that spot when they host the Lakeland outfit.
Kendal may be locked in mid-table but they hold the Indian sign over Farsley.
They won the reverse fixture at the Lakelands Radio Stadium 3-0 and put Parsley’s men out of the FA Trophy in the preliminary round at the same venue.
But Farsley are on a 13-match unbeaten run in the league, so will be favourites to overcome the hex and land a maximum.
Farsley are battling to hold their position because they have played more games than any of the promotion contenders.
However, they have some big 'six-pointers' coming up against the two clubs above them.
They face leaders Warrington Town next weekend and have a match against second-placed Curzon Ashton to rearrange.
Parsley wants his side to still be on their unbeaten league run when they face the top two.
