Eccleshill United banked a hard-earned point after a goalless draw at Knaresborough Town in Division One of the Northern Counties East League.

The Eagles were high on confidence after booking their place in the West Riding County Cup final following their semi-final win over Guiseley in midweek and they took the game to their hosts.

Despite being the dominant side they had to settle for a point and it cost them two places as they slipped down to seventh.
