All systems go - that is the news from Bradford City head coach Steve Winterburn as his side prepare to take on Blackpool Wren Rovers in the second round of the Women's FA Cup on Sunday.
The abnormally wet weather has rendered the grounds at Thackley and Wren Rovers unplayable since Christmas for this tie, but now the sides have agreed to go ahead at Woodhouse Grove School, using their 3G pitch at Apperley Bridge (2.30pm).
"We have a full-strength side and are looking forward to getting back playing," said Winterburn today.
"The only drawback is the limited space for spectators at this venue, but actually having the chance to play is the important thing."
With City training regularly on this surface, they should adjust well enough. But with a home tie against Cardiff scheduled to follow immediately after the outcome of this tie is determined, it is just as well for they could face the same problem in the next round.
Bradford Park Avenue moved up to fourth in the West Riding County Women's League Premier Division after an impressive 4-1 win at Brayton Belles.
Sophie Mitchell (2), Nic Chamberlain and Vicly Mladenovic were the Avenue scorers but it was the defensive work of Nat Bell that earned the player of the match award.
Among the games hoping to be played this weekend are Guiseley against Barnsley (North East Regional Women's League Premier Division), leaders Wetherby against second-placed Brighouse Town (North East Regional Southern Division) and Leeds United against Bradford City (FA Women's Premier League Reserve Division).
