Silsden will be hoping to play their first home game of the year on Saturday when they host Ashton Athletic in a re-arranged North West Counties League Premier Division fixture.
The Cobbydalers have only seen meaningful action once in 2014 - the 2-2 draw at AFC Blackpool.
All their other five matches, including the original date to host Ashton on the first Saturday of the year, have fallen foul of the seemingly ceaseless rain.
Boss Andy Geary has been setting out extra training sessions on Saturdays but his players will still be short of match fitness after just one game since Boxing Day’s 2-1 defeat in the derby at Barnoldswick Town.
Silsden remain fifth from bottom, just four points above the drop zone, but they have games in hand on three of the four clubs below them.
Visitors Ashton are a healthy ninth but are still looking to break through the 40-point barrier, so are a long way off the pace.
