Guiseley are bidding to reach a fifth successive West Riding County Cup final tomorrow night – but local rivals Eccleshill United will be out to stop them.
The Lions, who are pushing for a Conference North play-off place, play their league football four divisions higher than the Eagles but Lee Duxbury’s men have home advantage.
Guiseley boss Mark Bower is likely to go into the tie with a strong squad. He had wanted to give some of his fringe players some game time but back-to-back league defeats could see him fielding a stronger side to get back to winning ways.
Duxbury has his Toolstation Northern Counties East League outfit in top condition and giant-killing mood for the semi-final.
Meanwhile, Albion Sports have a big game of their own as they host Retford United in the NCE Premier Division.
It is sixth versus seventh, with Albion ahead by three points but having played two games more than the visitors.
Liversedge travel to third-bottom Winterton Rangers in the same section. Just three places separate the clubs but Sedge have more than double the points that their relegation-threatened hosts have managed.
