Brighouse Town climbed above Albion Sports in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division on Saturday, and will leapfrog their other local rivals, Thackley, with a win at lowly Parkgate tomorrow night.
Fifth-placed Town’s hosts are 20th in the table after banking just 19 points from a possible 84. A maximum would take Town to 59 and see them just eight points off the summit with five games in hand.
Paul Quinn’s men sent out a strong message on Saturday when they thrashed second-placed Tadcaster Albion 8-1.
