Just one match survived as West Riding County Amateur League clubs’ valiant attempts to get their pitches playable were thwarted by the weather.
A full programme of league and county cup games were scheduled but work done by groundsmen during the early part of the week went to waste as heavy Friday night rain intervened.
Steeton had been confident that their three-times delayed West Riding County FA Challenge Cup tie against Keighley neighbours Oxenhope Recreation would finally go ahead.
But an inspection on Saturday morning ruled out any chance of play and the sides will now try again this coming Saturday, with Brighouse Town Reserves awaiting in the quarter-finals.
Ovenden West Riding’s last-eight home clash with Silsden Reserves was also a victim of the weather. The Natty Lane pitch surface has been playable in recent weeks but there was no chance on this occasion.
The tie between Bay Athletic and Fields was also wiped out and, like the others, will hopefully take place this weekend instead.
The only County Amateur League game to take place was a Division One Cup tie and Storthes Hall Reserves won 2-1 at Wibsey to reach the second round.
Jordan Greenfield edged the visitors ahead in the first half, with James Crossland equalising for Wibsey early in the second period during an evenly-balanced contest at Westwood Park.
The winner came from Sean Gaffney ten minutes from time as Storthes Hall set up a tie with Overthorpe Sports Club, who are currently bottom of the league table.
