Two Bradford Sunday Alliance League clubs are aiming to progress in the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup tomorrow.
Weather permitting, Bolton Woods visit Dewsbury to play their rearranged fourth-round tie at Thornhill Lees with the incentive of a home clash with fellow Alliance Premier outfit Buttershaw White Star in the quarter-finals.
West Bowling have already reached the last eight and they are due to host HT Sports tomorrow, one of the best Sunday League sides in the area.
The Leeds-based side are the current holders of the trophy and beat Wests in last year’s semi-final before clinching the silverware with a 4-1 win over Fforde Grene in the final.
HT Sports also got the better of Grene in the last round of this year’s competition, beating them on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
In the West Riding FA Sunday Trophy, Division 2B outfit AFC Toller have home advantage in the quarter-finals against Wellington Westgate.
There is also some league action, with Premier Division leaders Sandy Lane at home to Thornton United.
While Lane are looking to capitalise on their rivals’ cup commitments, United are seeking to escape the lower reaches of the table.
George Hotel will leapfrog their visitors Relay with a victory.
In Division One Buttershaw Celtic who are in pole position, entertain thirdplaced club Napoleons Casino.
* Six-a-side teams are wanted for a league competition being run in Buttershaw on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
