Farsley began last Saturday as joint leaders of Evo-Stik Division One North and they go into tomorrow seeking the home win that could see them back there.
Neil Parsley’s men stole a march on their promotion rivals last weekend because they had to play on Friday night. Their victory at Wakefield, who share Belle View with the Wildcats rugby league side, moved them level with leaders Warrington Town – but overnight only.
Farsley slipped back to third following the results on Saturday and their aim tomorrow is to at least consolidate that placing when they host mid-table Northwich Victoria.
The Vics are currently 15th but that is a false position because they have five games in hand on Farsley and three over most of the clubs just above them. The Cheshire outfit will not have given up hope of making a late run to reach the play-offs.
Parsley has a strong squad with no injury concerns and confidence is high.
They are bidding to extend their unbeaten run to a 15th game and all but two of the previous 14 have been victories.
