Wakefield 0 Farsley 3
Farsley went joint top of Evo-Stik Division One North last night after a 3-0 victory at Wakefield’s Belle View.
The first half was goalless but Neil Parsley’s men should have broken the deadlock from the penalty spot. Matt Dempsey’s effort was saved by the home keeper.
Farsley’s keeper Tom Morgan was also busy as the home side created chances.
Paddy Miller opened the scoring just after the hour when he headed in following a corner.
Aiden Savory doubled the visitors’ lead nine minutes later and skipper Rob O’Brien was denied by the woodwork soon after.
Substitute Adam Priestley added Farsley’s third five minutes from time.
