Aaron Mclean expects to win promotion as a Bradford City player.
The striker, who signed this morning, is convinced that his new club match his own ambitions to get up from League One.
He said: "I wouldn’t have wanted to go to a club that’s just happy to sit in League One with no ambition. I wanted to go somewhere that wanted to achieve things.
"This club are on the up. If they weren't, they wouldn't be able to attract players from a higher league.
"I will be ambitious to the day I stop playing football. I always want to be striving to achieve something and this club have got a real chance of getting promoted to the Championship, if not this season then the next.
"I’ve signed a two and a half year contract here and in that time I expect to be getting promoted to the Championship."
