Farsley will be pushing to consolidate their place in the play-off zone at Throstle Nest on Saturday but they face a tough test against Ossett Town.
Not only will the game have the unpredictability of the derby factor but the visitors were the Evo-Stik Division One North club of the month for December after winning six matches on the bounce.
Neil Parsley’s men must have run them close to the award as they themselves are unbeaten since mid-November.
Farsley have registered 11 victories in their run of a dozen games since a 3-0 loss to the then leaders Warrington Town. That included progress in the Doodson Sport League Cup in midweek.
Centre back Matt Dempsey is the only injury doubt following the 1-0 win over Bamber Bridge but he is expected to be fit so Parsley has a full squad from which to pick his side.
Farsley could go second with a win and are just four points off the summit but they have played more games than any of their promotion rivals.
