Farsley took their unbeaten run into double figures last weekend and they will be expected to stretch it to 11 games when they host New Mills on Saturday.
Neil Parsley’s third-placed side have taken 25 points from the last 27 on offer as they continue to push for promotion from Evo-Stik Division One.
The Derbyshire club are struggling in 18th place and are just seven points above the relegation zone. However, they have five games in hand on many of their rivals. In fact, New Mills have played the fewest games of any club in the bottom half of the table.
Parsley said: “We had a good win at Cammell Laird (3-2) and I think the scoreline was misleading because Matt Dempsey was unfortunate to put through his own net in the last minute. He scored at the other end as well so there was no damage done.
“I think Matty has got four or five goals now, which is very good for a central defender.
“We needed that win because most of the top six won. We did our bit and fingers crossed we can continue this fine run.”
