The Bradford Sunday Alliance League will definitely have two teams in the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup quarter-finals.
And with West Bowling and Buttershaw White Star safely through, they could be joined by Bolton Woods if their weather-delayed tie at Thornhill Lees gets played next weekend.
Five teams were in contention for a last-eight berth at the start of the day but Napoleons Casino were well beaten 6-2 by Leeds visitors Halton Moor.
And Stanningley Albion had to give up home advantage to get their game on against a good Ilkley Dynamo team and eventually lost 2-1 after conceding two cracking goals in the last eight minutes.
There was also late drama before West Bowling could claim their quarter-final place as they edged out visiting Towngate 4-3.
Bowling took an early lead after dominating the first 20 minutes when Curtis McMahon shot into the top corner, only for Danny Facey to level matters before the interval.
Facey added his second goal when looking suspiciously offside – and it got worse for the hosts on the hour mark when winger Avron Noel hit home from close range to make it 3-1.
Karl Fawcett pulled one back for the Bradford team ten minutes later but they could not force another goal until five minutes from the end when Joe Jagger fired home the equaliser.
Then with the tie looking destined for extra time, McMahon slotted in his second of the game a minute from time to complete a memorable fightback.
Buttershaw White Star enjoyed a more sedate passage as they saw off Kirk Deighton Rangers 2-0.
The Bradford side netted a goal in each half through Graeme Sides and Jordan Missin, with skipper Garry Tyson also outstanding in defence.
