Thackley 8 Lincoln Moorlands Railway 1
Three players bagged themselves a brace as Thackley hit the goal trail at Dennyfield on Saturday.
The Dennyboys lifted themselves back up to fifth in the table as they looked to get their promotion push back on track.
It was not much of a contest against hapless Lincoln Moorlands, who are second from bottom and appear to be destined for relegation.
Nicky Matthews got the carnage underway when he broke the deadlock in just the second minute. He added the second in the ninth minute and Chris Davey put Thack-ley 3-0 up midway through the first half.
Lincoln wrecked hopes of a clean sheet when Danny Bee netted but, a little under eight minutes from half-time, Davey doubled his tally to make it 4-1.
Mike Garrod turned it into a five-star display midway through the second half, substitute Luke Hudson netted a seven-minute double and Paul Whiteley fired in the final goal in the last minute.
Thackley are 11 points off the summit but have three games in hand on leaders Tadcaster Albion, while struggling Lincoln’s goal difference is now minus 113.
