Harrogate Town 1, Farsley 1
Farsley had to battle for a point from their trip to Station View as Harrogate Railway Athletic came close to winning this Evo-Stik Division One North derby.
Neil Parsley’s men could have had things wrapped up if skipper Rob O’Brien had not been denied from the penalty spot twice.
Railway had a penalty kick of their own but they also failed as it was blazed over.
The two goals came within minutes of each other midway through the first half.
Adam Priestley put the visitors in front from a Josh Grant through ball, but the home side were level when Rob Youhill scored following a counter-attack.
Farsley boss Parsley said: “I’ll take a point from that because Harrogate made it very difficult for us indeed. I thought we were the better side in the first half but they were better in the second half.
“Their keeper made two great saves to stop Robbie’s penalties but they had a goal disallowed in the last minute that I thought was harsh. I didn’t think there was a lot wrong with it to be honest.
“So to come out of it with our unbeaten run still going is a bonus. We will have to ready for another challenge at Ramsbottom (United)on Saturday. They had a poor start to the season but are a good side.”
