Despite a reduced West Riding County Amateur League fixture list, due to ground unavailability, there are still some interesting pairings.
Top of these is at Summerhill Lane, where home side Steeton, who finished runners-up to Bay Athletic last season and at present are in third, face Premier Division leaders Ovenden West Riding. Only a point separates the sides, while Ovenden have played one game fewer.
At the foot of the table, Tyersal could slip into the second-bottom place should they fail to win at fellow strugglers Lepton Highlanders, who are one point worse off having played five games more.
Salts could give their chances of retaining their top-flight status a boost when Halifax Irish, who are just four points behind them, are their opponents at Saltaire (2pm).
Hunsworth, whose Division One game last weekend was a victim of Wibsey’s waterlogged ground, will be seeking to return to top spot when bottom-placed Overthorpe SC visit Bierley Lane.
