Farsley boss Neil Parsley will be looking for improvement on Saturday after a late penalty earned them victory last weekend.
Skipper Rob O’Brien rescued the Villagers with his stoppage time spot-kick as they beat struggling Radcliffe Borough 3-2. However, Parsley will not be reading the riot act to his squad after a run of six straight wins.
Five of those have come in the Evo-Stik Division One North, putting Farsley in second spot as they host mid-table Mossley.
Parsley said: “We were off the boil last week which is not like us because we have been playing really fluent football. The important thing is our run is still going so confidence is still there.
“We are in a good place at the moment with six wins on the spin and second in the table but there is a long way to go yet. We have to keep working and banking the points.”
Mossley are a lowly 15th as they struggle this term after being promotion contenders themselves last season.
Farsley are only three points behind leaders Warrington Town but the gap is the same to sixth-placed Lancaster City who are just outside the play-off zone. Six points separate six clubs at the congested higher end of the table.
Parsley said: “It will be another tough one against Mossley but I’m hoping to have Lee Ellington fully fit and giving me another selection headache. Lee came on for the last ten or 15 minutes at Radcliffe after resting his calf injury for a couple of games.
“He was about 90 per cent fit last week so there’s no reason why he can’t be stating his case a place in the side.
"Lee missed a couple of weeks but he has got a big part to play. I’m very lucky to have three very good forwards at the club with Lee, Aiden (Savory) and Adam (Priestley) and they know how difficult it is to stay in the side.”
