Senior A Division leaders Grangefield Old Boys dropped two points in their 1-1 draw at Trinity Old Boys in the Yorkshire Amateur League.

Mid-table Trinity edged the first half, Kris Feather giving them the lead, but parity was restored just before half-time when Jack Jones headed home from a corner.

Grangefield, who still lead the top flight, dominated the second half but squandered chances.

There is still no joy for St Bede's in the Senior B Division. They battled well and only trailed visitors Farsley Celtic 2-1 at half-time before going on to lose 6-1.

Jason Davis netted for the Bradford side but Celtic had a superb second half, goals coming from Craig Farrand - the opener from 25 yards - defender Luke Kitson, Rob Cromack, Sam Bradley, Jonathan Kasher and Adam Jesusco.

The victory moves Farsley up to second place. They leap-frogged both Stanningley Old Boys Reserves, whose game with Calverley was abandoned because of bad light after 78 minutes, and Farnley Sports, who lost to leaders Medics Reserves.

St Bede's Reserves are bottom of Division Two and lost 2-1 at Bainbridge, who moved out of the bottom two for the first time this season.

All the goals came in the first half on a pitch that cut up towards the end of the match. Asim Hussain and Tufail Ahmed gave Bainbridge a 2-0 lead, Admir Zenkovic being unable to glean Bede's a point.

Grangefield Old Boys Reserves dropped a place to fourth after a surprise 4-2 home defeat to old Modernians Reserves, who climbed to ninth.

To make matters worse, Grangefield twice held the lead but Modernians' strong second-half display secured victory.

Goals for Grangefield came from Niall Coleman, with the only goal of the first half, and Darren Sanderson but Jonny Wilson (2) and Tommy Stanger (2) gave Mods the points.

In Division Three, improving Heckmondwike Grammar School Old Boys trounced visitors East Ardsley Wanderers 9-1 to go tenth.

The winners' marksmen were Daniel Laidlaw (3), Ryan Laidlaw, Jack Murphy, Josh Murphy, Darren Harwood, Oliver Hartley and an own goal, with Darren Smith replying.

Batelians Reserves stayed top with a 5-3 win at second-from-bottom Old Modernians, the leaders' goalos coming from Luke Adam (2), Phil Bryant (2) and Richard Bentley.
