Former City youngster Indy Aujla has not given up his dream of playing professional football as he returns to Bradford this weekend.
The 26-year-old, who can play central midfield and full back, is expected to line up for Boston United at Park Avenue – his first game in his home city for nearly a decade.
Since being released by the Bantams as a youth-team player, Aujla has played at a host of sides – including Willy Topp’s former Belgian club RRFC Montegnee, where he was captain for two seasons.
Aujla finished last term with southern-based Whitehawk and helped them to promotion in the Ryman Premier League.
That earned him an invitation to train with Brentford through the summer and they are currently monitoring his progress at Boston, where he arrived six weeks ago.
