The ethnic diversity of fans who cheered Bradford City on during last season’s Capital One cup run - which saw the Bantams reach the Wembley final - and its promotion-winning league performance helped the club win recognition at the English Asian Business Awards.
Bradford City won the community award which recognised success beyond financial gain.
It recognised the club’s efforts to encourage and increase local young Asian talent through its development programmes and academy teams. The award was given for achievements which make a tangible difference to the community and leave a legacy of positive change.
