Assistant boss Nigel Gibbs has called on Leeds United to reproduce their home form on their travels.

United have enjoyed back-to-back wins at Elland Road but their away displays have been a concern in recent weeks ahead of Saturday’s trip to Charlton Athletic.

“We need the same performances as our home form,” said Gibbs. “The same energy, chance creation rate and we need to be more solid.

“That is the information we have passed on to the players. When we got back to 2-2 at Huddersfield we were still quite open and we were looking for the winner too early.

“We’ve got to use a little bit of nous and keep working at the game, closing down the opposition and make ourselves hard to beat because we know that with the players we have in the side we will create chances.

“We certainly need to be more resilient away from home.”

Meanwhile, United’s Paul Green has been called up for the Republic of Ireland’s double header later this month against Latvia and Poland.
