Guiseley will be aiming to continue their recent resurgence as they travel to Warwickshire to face Leamington in the Conference North on Saturday.
It has been another busy period for Lions boss Mark Bower, with players coming in and going out at Nethermoor.
But Guiseley are one of, if not the form team and they will be high on confidence going into this weekend’s clash.
The Lions have climbed back up to 14th after two wins and a draw from their last three league games. That puts them two places higher than their hosts but four points better off and if results go their way this weekend, Bower’s men could jump back into the top half of the table with another win.
Leamington may be close to Guiseley in the table but they are just one bad result off the basement, where seven clubs are separated by three points.
Guiseley continued their fine form in midweek with a 3-0 extra-time win over Ossett Town in the West Riding County Cup, although the final score was possibly more handsome than the performance.
Bower said: “It wasn’t the greatest game in the world but credit to Ossett because they worked hard. I was disappointed with our quality in the final third of the pitch.
“A few lads who needed game time after being on the periphery lately got time on the pitch, so it did a lot of players some good and we are in the next round. What was important was that everyone worked for the full 120 minutes.
“We trained well in the week to get ready for what is a big game. We have now gone four on the trot unbeaten and if we play our football as we have in the last couple of games, who says we can’t get another win.”
