There are four interesting West Riding County Cup second-round ties tomorrow night, with four local clubs taking on sides they cannot face in league football this season.
Conference North outfit Guiseley have home advantage against Evo-Stik Division One club Ossett Town.
Mark Bower’s Lions will be favourites - not just because they play their football two steps higher up the football pyramid but because of recent form.
The Lions appear to have come through their slump and have gone three games without defeat in the league.
There should be a good atmosphere at Nethermoor as the club have announced half-price entry for the tie.
Guiseley also confirmed that four players have left with Phil Marsh (loan) and Paul Ennis (permanent) going to Stalybridge Celtic, Matt Clarke being released and Ryan Williams signing dual- registration forms with Goole AFC.
The Lions will also be looking forward to hosting Histon in the FA Trophy a week on Saturday following today’s third-qualifying round draw.
Bower’s men drew 1-1 at home with the Cambridgeshire outfit a fortnight last Saturday to end a six- match losing streak.
Elsewhere in the West Riding County Cup tomorrow, Brighouse Town, who are riding high in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division, host Wakefield, who are struggling in the division above. Wakefield are Ossett Town’s league rivals.
Brighouse’s league rivals Liversedge are also at home - against Selby Town, who are from the lower tier of the NCE League.
Albion Sports are on the road as they head to the roses border to face Barnoldswick Town, who are on the same rung of the non-league ladder but play in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
