Last week was always going to be a tough one with Crawley and Preston away and then playing title favourites Wolves.

Only getting one point from nine was disappointing but speaking to all the boys, they seem quite upbeat. Everyone knows the quality we have and we will get the ball rolling again.

We’ve got Crewe away on Saturday and fingers crossed we can turn it round. I’m confident we will.

We knew that this season was never going to be plain sailing. You’ve gone up a division and are facing a lot of quality teams.

It’s important you don’t get too low when we lose, in the same way nobody gets carried away after a win. Let’s have a look at where we are come the end of the season.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to Valley Parade for the Wolves game because I’m still on the crutches for another week but to see that 18,000 fans were there is amazing.

I think it shows how far the club has come from when I joined just over two years ago.

I remember my debut against Wimbledon and you could feel the frustration in the crowd. It was like the club had lost its way after a lot of difficult years.

I knew that Bradford City were a massive club but they just needed somebody to get hold of things and give them a shake.

All that has changed now. When we play at home, the whole ground is buzzing and the fans are singing and chanting.

That’s credit to the supporters as much as the manager, players and backroom staff – everyone is playing their part.

We know that the crowd are right behind us and will keep urging us on to the death. And they know that the players will keep going and never give up.

Everything about the place is different from when I first walked in. The whole mentality around the club has been transformed.

It’s unbelievable the way the fans have stuck with the club as they slid from the Premier League right down to League Two. Now hopefully we’re giving them a team to be proud of.
