Bradford City coasted through to the second round of the West Riding County Women’s Cup with a 7-0 win at Farsley.

A hat-tick from Paige Crosby was supported by two Caroline Omboyi goals and one each by Jodie Redgrave and Charlotte Stuart.

Next opponents Guiseley also had a comfortable win as Charlotte Proud and 16-year-old Bethan Smith both hit hat-tricks in an 8-0 romp against Bradford Park Avenue.

Huddersfield Town’s promotion hopes in the Northern Women’s Combination took a knock as they lost 5-0 at Stockport and they face them again in the return game at Shelley this weekend.

They are next in League Cup action at Wolves. Keighley Oaks are the new leaders of the West Riding League Premier Division after a 6-1 win at Ossett Town and they are now at home to Middleton Park in the League Cup.
