Farsley boss Neil Parsley will be without four of his regular first-team players due to suspension for Saturday’s Evo-Stik Division One North game at home to Radcliffe Borough.
All of them picked up bans following sendings-off in back-to-back games, with the manager so incensed by the officials in their 3-3 draw with Northwich Victoria that the club complained to the league.
Parsley said: “Adam Priestley, Ryan Serrant, Sim Bambroook and Matt Dempsey will all be missing.
“Four suspensions in one hit is difficult for any squad to absorb and I feel we are paying the price for a very poor refereeing performance.”
Striker Priestley has a three-game ban following a straight red card in the West Riding County Cup tie against AFC Goole. The other three were all dismissed late in the league draw at Northwich.
Serrant was handed a one-game suspension after being sent off for denying a goal-scoring opportunity, while Dempsey and Bambrook got two-match bans after red cards for dissent.
Parsley, who side are fourth, said: “We can’t condone players getting themselves sent off for dissent, but there were things that were said following some very strange and controversial events.
“But we have got a good squad and it’s a good job because it will help us in this instance. When someone is out of contention for whatever reason it gives someone else a chance and it’s up to them to take it.”
Radcliffe are one of the form sides despite their lowly fourth-from-bottom position.
Having waited nine games for their first league victory, the Greater Manchester outfit have won their last three, scoring nine and conceding just one.
Parsley added: “It will be a difficult game because Radcliffe have picked up of late.”
