Bridlington Town 3, Liversedge 3
Liversedge were involved in a ding-dong battle by the seaside tonight and they came back with a valuable point from their Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division meeting with Bridlington Town after twice coming from behind.
The east-coast outfit raced into an early lead when former Farsley Celtic midfielder Ashley Allanson’s free-kick was slotted in by Craig Hogg, who then turned provider as Joel Ramm netted Town’s second.
Sedge hit back with two quick goals just after the hour. Warwick Charlton began the fightback before Ben Grech-Brooksbank struck the leveller.
Hogg bagged his second soon after to put Brid back in charge but Gibril Bojang netted a deserved equaliser two minutes from time.
Eccleshill United also banked a hard-earned point from their Division One home clash with Worsbrough Bridge Athletic.
The visitors led 2-0 at the break after an early goal from Danny Calley and a Lee Garside penalty.
But the Eagles came back strongly after the interval with Conner Shefte pegging one back before Jackson Pattillo’s equaliser.
