Guiseley jumped from third bottom to 14th after Mark Bower finally celebrated his first victory in charge with a 3-2 win at North Ferriby last night.
The hosts – third in the Conference North table – took the lead in the tenth minute through Liam King.
Guiseley got back into the game with a 34th-minute penalty from Gavin Rothery – who was back from suspension – after Alex Johnson had been fouled.
Wayne Brooksby fired in a low free-kick to put the visitors in front before the break.
Ferriby levelled through Anthony Wilson just minutes after the interval but Brooksby bagged the winner midway through the second half.
