Mark Lawn believes the Bantams’ amazing 2012-13 campaign can persuade the city’s Asian community to back the team in greater numbers.
The club’s joint-chairman said there had already been a noticeable increase in Asian fans during an historic season in which City twice reached Wembley and won promotion.
Lawn is determined that the trend continues as Phil Parkinson’s men gear up for life in League One.
“Coming back from Wembley last month, I must have passed 12 cars full of Asian supporters, all in new shirts – and I obviously liked that bit!” said Lawn.
“That’s great to see and Bradford is the fastest growing city in the country.
“We’ve got to make the Asian community feel welcome. They are part of the family of Bradford City.
“If there are any problems culturally then give me a ring and we’ll do what we can to make them feel comfortable.
“This is a family club and we want families in here. We want them to feel comfortable and safe.”
Adult season tickets are available for £199, with senior citizen and student tickets priced at £149 and juniors at £99.
Supporters will have until July 31 to purchase season tickets at the current selling price, while flexi-cards are on sale at £50 each.
“We appreciate it has been a very expensive time for supporters, so that’s why the offer is going right through to the end of July,” said Lawn.
“If you can’t get a season ticket, make sure you get a flexi-card. You’ve already seen the benefit of that from last season.”
