Guiseley defender Danny Ellis came away from the club’s end of season awards night with an armful of trophies following another consistent campaign.
Ellis was a stalwart of the defence as the Lions again claimed runners-up spot in the Conference North and reached the final of the West Riding County Cup.
The presentations were made after a dinner at the Wetherby Whaler, one of the club’s sponsors, and Ellis picked up the players’, managers’ and supporters’ player of the year accolades.
The Michael Schofield Fair Play award went to young midfielder Jack Rea, while the sponsors vote went to keeper Steve Drench, with Sandra Jeffray being named the volunteer of the year.
