FC Halifax Town came from behind once again to rescue a point against league champions Chester City tonight in a 1-1 draw.
The visitors started in the best possible manner as Marc Williams arrived to fire home a dangerous Nathan Jarman delivery.
As has become a common, but admirable trait in recent weeks, the Shaymen come back from behind once again as Alex Johnson flicked home Sean Williams’ free-kick.
Halifax continued to push for a winning goal, and had chances with Seddon first failing to find an arriving Johnson, before St Juste hesitated in front of goal and allowed John Danby to save.
In the dying stages, Matt Glennon rescued the points for Town by pulling off a string of expert saves.
First he thwarted Williams who was hunting a second before majestically tipping wide Jarman’s strike which looked destined for the bottom corner.
The Shaymen now face Stalybridge Celtic on Saturday in their final league game of the season.
